Resurrection Skill Location - Guild Wars Forums

Hi everyone. Before I get the usual flames about using the search button, etc... I'd like to say that I did try and I couldn't find anything specifically regarding this.

On the skills listing it shows the first available place to get the actual skill "Resurrect" at Yak's Bend. With my warrior I got the skill from Grazdan the protector (I think his name was). He's the guy that teaches you monk skills in presearing in "Green Hills Country". Now he's right outside of that Sanitarium (sp?) place in south Old Ascalon.

The thing is, I can't seem to get this skill with my Elementalist. She's also a secondary monk. I'm positive I got this with my warrior, as I had to use it several times on the "Surmia" mission when people rushed that big group of Charr towards the end.

Is there some kind of prerequisite that you have to complete before getting it from Grazdan? Or was this just a bug? W/Mo only?

It's not really a huge deal, as I'm at the Frontier Gate now, all I have left is Surmia and Nolani and I'm at Yak's Bend. No biggie.

I'm just confused on why I can't get it from the same place now.

If you completed the Paulus quest Grazdan gave u (or maybe all the quests b4 the rez one), then you should get that rez skill quest..

there is a monk quest in the old askalon explorable area that has it

actually more than 1 quest.
if it is not offered on the first quest which i think is escort the farmer than it is the 2nd quest (same monk) that gives it

That's strange -- my Ranger/Monk was able to get Resurrection from Grazden. It was a while ago, but I believe I needed to do a quest for him first (like escort the farmer back to Ascalon?) before he offered me the Res. quest.

edit: beaten to the answer -- gotta learn to type.

Where is Grazden located? I forget. I'm post searing and want the actual monk's ability to raise the dead on missions, not the signet. I'm trying a new build and just went post searing before checking on the rez ability.

Sarrlac's Sanitarium (sp?) - Is Southwest of Ascalon (post-searing) actually more west than south but still a lil south. Directly West of Artisan Daved, and just a lil south of there is where you find Grazden + lil boy NPC......that's where I got Res skill with my monk and I believe you had to walk the lil boy back to Ascalon with you (he hates devourer's so watch him as he fights)

The quest you do for the Res spell is the 3rd one Grazden gives you. You have to deliever the news of Paulus's death to his widow just outside Ascalon city.

Grazden is located southish of Sardelac Sanitarium. Maybe a little east too. Hope you find him!
